Sunny Pointe Child Care Center is a unique, privately owned
childcare center located in Northville, Michigan. Established in the
fall of 1991, Sunny Pointe has grown side-by side with the Northville community nearly doubling in size and services over the years. Many of our teachers have been with us for more than 20 years, so children see the same caring faces year after year. We welcome families from Northville, Novi, Plymouth and Livonia.

Sunny Pointe offers development programs for children from 3 months to 5 years old. This includes preschool in Northville and kindergarten classes during the school year taught by educators with degrees in Early Childhood Education. Choose a program below to learn more. See Sample Activities.
Infants enter our program at 12 weeks and stay until 12 months.
3–12 months old
Young toddlers are busy explorers taking their first steps toward independence. Our program nurtures growing motor skills and curiosity through sensory play, simple songs, and gentle guidance in a warm, home-like setting.
12–18 months old
Older toddlers are confident movers and eager communicators. Our program builds on early skills with expanded language activities, group play, and increasing independence, all supported by consistent, caring teachers.
18–34 months old
The preschool program is for children from 2½ yrs – Kindergarten-eligible.
2½ yrs – Kindergarten-eligible
The Sunny Pointe Young Five Program is designed for children who have been in a preschool program for two years and do not meet the age requirement for the public school kindergarten.
5 years old
Summer Camp is offered for children between the ages of 3 years to 6 years beginning the second week of June through the last week in August.
3–6 years oldSunny Pointe Child Care provides a quality child care experience in a comfortable, familiar, home-like setting.
Our program reflects the belief that learning takes place primarily through exploratory activities and discovery. The amount of adult guidance varies with each activity, as it is our belief that a good program offers both directed and non-directed experiences, encouraging your child to plan and think about their actions.
We are also proud to offer Japanese-speaking carers, helping create a warm and welcoming experience for Japanese-speaking families.
